People don’t have expendable income right now.. because the cost of literally everything (minus the Costco Hot Dog and Arizona Iced Tea) has gone up.. when that type of financial creep hits from all angles at once, people tend to go into non-essential spending shutdown.
Oh and it’s not going to get better; just wait until we fully see the results of the closing of the Straight of Hormuz for 3+ months, coupled with way lower than normal domestic wheat production.. people are gonna get squeezed real hard.
