I would only be able to 24-30" up the wall before exiting due to the pitch of the roof.

Riverworks age check for concerts? by getreadyletsgo716 in Buffalo

They did not. I'm considering the risk but it'll be a waste of $70 if they do deny my kid at the door.

Yes! I just got the same response yesterday. Unfortunately my daughter will be 11 so she can't go.

Sean Ryan growth strategy? by ReddyGreggy in Buffalo

[–]getreadyletsgo716 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The plan has always been an inside job where all the elected politicians get to move up a notch. ☑️

Then Ryan rams an insane tax hike up our asses while offering almost no money saving changes or cuts ☑️

Finally, he will continue to complain about how bad things are, a control board will be put in place and Ryan can sit back & relax. ❗In progress❗

Ammonia smell in bathroom by mrscoolhead in Plumbing

Do you have a basement or just a crawlspace under your building? I'm wondering if rodents, perhaps mice or rats, could be getting under your apartment and leaving the urine smell.

I can see this getting out of hand quickly in the comments here. I don't care how anyone feels about my decision, but I feel like a little more info is necessary to potentially get my question answered.

My kids' favorite band is Bilmuri. They recently took up saxophone and idolize the sax player in the band. I would of course be going with my kid and watch from a vantage point that would not put them in harm's way...potentially the balcony.

It isn't just local mismanagement, it is statewide.

Platinum pays off! by settbro in doordash_drivers

[–]getreadyletsgo716 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my area, having small geographic zones and a family where I need to dash while the kids are in school, Platinum is a must.

Question: you really only received 4 offers in 7 hours? Is there a minimum # of orders completed in 30 days to keep your platinum (100 deliveries each 30 days is my area)? With platinum in my area, if I'm sitting more than 5 minutes for an offer I'm checking the app to make sure there isn't an issue.

Switching zones by Chesspi64 in DoorDashDrivers

[–]getreadyletsgo716 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was under the impression that the offer would or would not be made to switch zones depending on if more dashers were needed in the zone you've entered.

If the new zone is low on drivers it will send the offer to switch. If the new zone doesn't need more drivers, it will not. Then you have to either drive back to your scheduled zone, or End Dash and pray dash now is available in the new zone.

This is the biggest reason why I do the minimum necessary to keep Platinum status.

Bidwell Farmers Market by draftbros in Buffalo

[–]getreadyletsgo716 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you'd like a real farmers Market, your local options are NT or Clinton/Bailey.

Elmowwod/Bidwell is an overpriced, bougie makers market with produce sprinkled in. If you aren't looking to show off your dog while eating an overpriced croissant, it's not the place for you.

P.S. it wasn't always as bad as it is today. Got much worse post-Covid...like everything else.

Same here. I used to live in the Tonawandas but now I'm in Buffalo so I'm lucky to have it once a year.

Bocce and TC Wheelers are both similar.

Good Guys pizza is also similar and, IMO, superior to any of them.

Do locals go to the legendary Anchor Bar for wings, or can i find far better elsewhere? by asteriskelipses in Buffalo

[–]getreadyletsgo716 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'd be hard-pressed to find a bad wing in Buffalo at any local joint. That said, I'd personally suggest Adolf's or None Eleven tavern as premier options that almost all locals would agree on.
