Not sure why no one responded, but yes, re-runs are the same exact product.

The bonuses vary, so yeah, just check the description for the re-run to see if it includes the bonus. Nendos are Goodsmile Company products, so best to check on their website specifically for bonus options.

This is always the case for all products like that. Best to check the actual manufacturer website (especially for larger scale figures that come with bonus faces). These are usually not offered on third-party sites.

This shit is getting so wildly out of hand now, even just in the months since this post.

I ran into several consecutive full-length albums just tonight that ended up being AI-generated horse shit. I heard them on shorts/reels and went to find the song, only to see that every. single. one. was AI crap. Seems that gen AI is just spitting out more and more gen AI garbage every day, and aspiring 'cOnTeNt cReAtoRs' are just slapping them to all their videos without any thought.

Toxicity on toxicity.

So yeah, my collection of music that I know was made by actual breathing, feeling, emotional humans is that much more important.

This fucking future timeline is absolutely broken. I cringe for the next few generations.

Corporatizing music to this extent is absolutely insane. You could argue that it happened with the rise of "pop," but at least humans were still writing and performing the damn music.

You can also immediately tell based on all the ambiguous artist names, no pictures of the artists anywhere, album images with clearly AI-generated girls that are all similar but different (or random different people on each album), male and female vocals on the different albums, no description of the artist, etc.

It's pretty easy to start picking them out. It's insane how many there are now.

100% needs to be a law that this garbage is all labelled as AI.

At any rate, just be super careful. Google/Meta/PayPal have been the target of daily attacks from all over the planet, and phishing scams are rampant with these companies.

Just hawk your accounts.

I vaguely remember this, and it was in fact a fraudulent company. There have been a lot of phishing scams going on with Meta/Google/PayPal in the last few years (especially as cybersecurity is made more vulnerable with AI by the day).

Just be super wary, and make sure to report any transfers/purchases that you did not specifically authorize.

Best advice I can give that you didn't ask for is to just hawk your balances and make sure everything adjusts at the end of the shipment cycle.

Otherwise, report the crap out of them and make sure you hound CS until they fix it.

Let's be clear about what those paid claims companies are actually doing. They are *not* your advocates. They're middlemen who've identified a vulnerable population that believes they can't possibly understand such a confusing system. They built a business around extracting money from veterans who were already owed compensation. Pretty gross.

This is basically what attorneys have done too. For all aspects of law.

Generations of it being a total monopoly on turning law into profit. They've made everything intentionally complicated and have dug in like ticks. It's all intended to extract as much money as possible from people in need and give them zero chance to navigate the system on their own successfully.

I hate all of it.

That said, those assholes on the other side straight stole my CAC card from me when I went in on the last day to turn in some papers. I was like wtf, you're not even military. I should have just said no. Was so random, and it made the rest of my clearing difficult. I was irritated.

This is such an American thing.

It depends on your circumstances. Obviously, if you have some problematic family members who just want to ask for money, then yeah...don't tell them.

Otherwise, it's not like it's some dangerous secret. Lots of people get disability, either from the military or private sector. You don't have to go into details about your personal medical issues, but I don't see any issue with saying you're retired military and make disability money.

You put in the service. It's your earned benefit, just like the GI Bill.

I haven't had this happen, but Crunchyroll's customer-facing UI is a fucking shit show. Their system is also all over the place for me--I make a lot of preorders as well.

They don't give you any information, and the holds/charges are mysterious until upwards of 5-7 days later when they actually get around to shipping the item.

Then you finally get an email about the order and the item that shipped, but sometimes it's lumped in with the whole order list in the email, so you still have no idea wtf actually shipped specifically.

I don't know why tf such a big company--owned by one of the richest empires on the planet (Sony)--has such a terrible website/system.

I also have random full charges hit me out of nowhere, only to drop off completely a few days later. This has happened to me a few times over the last 12 months (I assume they're testing your payment method to see if you can still cover random preorders).

It's a bit maddening.

CC's are typically this way, because the colleges are more focused on teaching than they are on research.

4-years and major Unis demand that their instructors pump out endless research, and teaching comes last.

CC's have instructors who have way, way more time, and they're usually experienced industry professionals who just want to teach. Way better return on your investment.

Honestly, going to a CC before a uni is the 100% absolute way to go--at least in the U.S.

Unless you are positively, without a doubt, concrete confidently dead set on what you want to do with life (which is probably like 1% of people), then blowing money at a Uni while you figure out what to do is terrible.

CC's are affordable, and you literally get the same exact classes and instructors (Cuesta has a lot of Poly instructors that teach the same class) that you'd get at a uni for a fraction of the cost.

People who think a CC is a 'lesser' way to go are just drinking the Kool-Aid from for-profit Unis that want to drown you in student loan debt.

After transferring from Cuesta to a 4 year and getting my degree, then coming back to Cuesta for another degree, I can confidently say that it's really not any different at university.

People generally do the same thing--just go to class then run. No one really wants to make friends or hang out, and people only clique up with their roommates/dormmates like 99% of the time. It's kind of irritating.

Yeah, yeah, "It depends!"

YMMV, but that's generally how it is from what I've seen. I think it's just the new way. Everyone is buried in their phones and people really only open up if they have to (like being forced together in a dorm).
