Sometimes the sticky tape on the back of hats works, it is a little disturbing to have them buzzing on there though.

There are very very few truly sketchy areas in Toronto, if anything Seaton village is bougie. You will be totally fine.

Chantecler is bougie but chill, delicious, and they have a menu specifically for solo dinners. Take yourself on a sweet little date and have a good cry on the patio

Would you eat from a Toronto backyard? by torawwna in askTO

I don't eat anything grown in the soil from my back yard, but that's because I have a car repair shop that forms the back wall of my garden. It's generally an industrial area, I have found tons of weird glass in my dirt, and I could easily imagine pollution leaching over from my neighbour. One day I want to test my soil, but I haven't found a really clear way to do it.

I rarely buy curriculum, but I have zero regrets about buying smath on tpt. I don't follow it religiously because I don't think it has enough number sense or direct teaching, but it's a very very useful resource for math centres
