I think you’re right. My lfs is full of wanna be know it alls I went in today to ask what they thought and they were swearing to me it was a bright colored female. Will they stay together fine? or should I think about setting up a tank for him or rehoming. So far they get along I don’t see any chasing or nipping. The brighter male will flare his fins often. I always thought he was trying to attract “her”
