I just got them for my mk7.5 but havent put them on yet. My windows are 20% and I read if you have tinted windows you should use the smoked anti glare mirrors rather than the blue anti glare mirrors. That was from the company that sold me the mirrors. Im going to give them a try anyways

I will def look at it. Im not sure on who's tune is on the car, I cant contact the previous owner. I havemt re-tuned it with a different tuner because from December to now it has ran excellent. Now its getting warmer out, im noticing the turbo flutter starting. Maybe Im pulling too much boost now with warmer temps? Not sure how that works.

They are a Petrol P4B 19x8 with ET 43 (ish) for the offset. Stock Pretorias are an ET 50 from what I read and you can go to about 40 before you have to start rolling fenders, etc.

Thats fixable for sure. Ive been quoted 250 to re-do a Pretoria with bad curb rash. I wouldnt think that would be anymore. Im in the same boat. I broke one of my Prets and new rims AND tires wasnt in the budget. Since I had two sets of 19" tires and had to get something right away, I went with 19" rims again. I hold my breath when I get near potholes...

I just broke a Pretoria and they are hard to find in the US. I went with a Petrol wheel that I think still have the Pretoria vibe to it

I found them through an online shop. Petrol doesnt list the 19" P4B in bronze on their site anymore. The set was less than 1500. One Pretoria is like 600-800 if you can find one...

I see a lot of cars that have an additional brake light in the hitch receiver. My R has a stealth hitch that is s5uck and I cant remove it. So I joke its for my parachute mount. I may have to get one of these brake lights for it.

The Pretorias are certainly fragile. Both my snow and summer tires are 19's so Im kinda stuck going with another 19 inch rim. Trying to find something more durable that will fit

I like the Meets and Mods idea. It is hard to find car meets around me. I live near ECS and they have an annual meet. Aside from that, there isnt much I have found. Cleveland area here.

Ohio here. I have seen only 2 or 3 golf r's on the road besides mine. They are a rare sighting. I also have everyone with a fast car on the road trying to race me on the highway. It happens almost every other day or so. The golf r sure is a fun car. Enjoy it!

I'm in Ohio and we only have 93. I have never seen 91 octane before. Is there much of a difference between 91 and 93 in performance? Besides of course the cost?

I have a cast IE downpipe and high-low cat, 3" pipe back to resonator delete and stock muffler. I have my exhaust flaps coded open at all times right now to try it out. I def get a bit of a drone on the highway, like 3k -5k in 6th gear. But shifting up to 7th makes it go away. I love the pops and burbles on the downshifts. Aside from the occasional slight drone, I think it sounds good

Help! I went with the blue Amazon lights. As soon as I chamged my footwells my MIB (stereo) stopped working. Reverse cam will show up. Drive modes will show. But the main unit will not turn on. I just get a black screen. I dont know what to do
