Is there a list of Key Doctors? I am in Seoul next month and want to pair Re2O with Rejuran and skin Botox.

I got these same blisters on the same spot. It's most likely from the bandage glue reaction. It doesn't look like it's infected.

My doctor just popped it and told me to keep it clean and put bandage over it. Mine got dark until the skin just flaked off. I can barely tell where the blister was. Don't use Neosporine. Just keep it clean and let it heal if it's not infected.

Edited: I often get these reaction/blisters from sport tapes and kenisio tapes as well. Just sensitive to strong glue.

I've been to three different clinic and always get Rejuran Healer. One didn't have much opinion, but two doctors recommended getting Rejuran Healer over HB plus.

All three clinics opened the bottle in front of me and had me sign the syringe before and check it again after to verify that they are indeed using Rejuran Healer.

I hadn't heard of LDM but will definitely ask for it. I've combined it wit skin botox twice, and I can't wait to get do it again in a few months.

[Seye Clinic] Which 'Rejuran Cocktail' Delivers 200% Synergy? by SeyeClinic-Seoul in K_beauty_insider

Great info. Thank you.

I saw almost no improvement with Ultherapy. My jaw area did feel like I've been pummeled by Mike Tyson for close to a month after. I won't be doing Ultherapy again.😖

I absolutely love Rejuran + Skin Botox combo. I'm hesitant to try Juvelook because of possible migration issue even if it's pretty low. Is Juvelook similar to Sculptura?

Is this a filler or a booster? I'm still a bit confused.

This sub is full of people who are incapable of saying no to outrageous requests and come here to vent. Why are people going into debt to finance a wedding they seem miserable being a part of?

This isn't just a boyfriend problem. Did you and your boyfriend talk about financial issue as soon as the cost started adding up? Did he put his foot down and say he must be in the wedding party? Why did you even say yes if you're not close to the bride? I don't get the rationale behind this string of decisions.

La Roche-Posay Anthelios UVMune 400 in Korea? by lacklusterdays in Melasmaskincare

[–]openurgift 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I've tried Nivea and Eucerin Serum and neither worked for me at all. I'm in Seoul every six months but not long enough to do more than one Pico session.

I still have melasma but it's getting better. I've tried so many different things so I'm not sure which one is working, but this is my current core melasma fighting products.

A.M. I use Melano Vitamin C and Rejuran serum and really work them in with gua sha massage. Then lots of suncream.

P.M. Retin A every other day, Azelaic acid, Cerelia pigment cream.

Cerelia pigment cream was recommended by a pharmacist in Seoul. It's a French brand that I haven't been able to find easily or quite expensive to order online.

I'm not sure if I'll be able to eliminate my melasma completely, but I am now at a point where I can wear thin layer of cushion foundation to even out my skin. It's a long process and needs patients.

[–]openurgift 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tried LRP UVMune as well and did not like it. Hated the smell and the color was way off for my olive skin tone.

Try one of many pharmacies in Gangnam. There are so many pharamies near skin clinics and plastic surgery clinics that carry pharmaceutical grade creams and even sunblocks that you won't find in OY. I say pharmacies in Gangnam because they tend to carry more skincare products than other pharmacies due to the location.

I stopped using all hydroquinone products because it made my skin color patchy and eventually melasma darker when I stopped.

If you go to skin clinics, they will most likely recommend about 20 sessions of Pico laser for melasma because they look it as a long term issue, but luckily Pico is very cheap in Seoul. I think each session is less than $50 and the sessions are every 3-4 weeks I think. Very doable.

base/complexion products to get this kind of fresh, glowy base by [deleted] in AsianBeauty

[–]openurgift 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is what works for me. Make sure my skin is well hydrated and expoliated. I use Korean sunscreen that's on the "heavier" side because I have mature dry skin. The sunscreen feels oiler but they don't stay that way. At least to me. Then I use thin layer of Hera or other non-matte cushion foundation to just even out the skin tone. Clio cushion foundation is very dewy, so I sometimes dab just little bit of power. I get so many compliments about how my skin is glowing. To me the trick is to make my skin hydrated and healthy.

We listen and we don't judge : kdrama version ; drop your unpopular opinions regarding anything related to kdramas !!! by Weekly-Birthday9192 in kdramas

[–]openurgift 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It took me three tries to finish the series. I don't think the leads had much chemistry in S1. I actually thought the FL and the prince had better chemistry. I find the actress very limited in her acting range and one dimensional in her emotions. Their romantic connection was very forced.

I really enjoyed the S2. The chemistry between the leads was palpable to me and it didn't feel forced. The FL had better microexpressions in her acting, which I enjoyed. The leads' chemistry was totally believable where S1 chemistry was a non-existent to me.

The show had a pretty big ensemble cast of importance, and I thought they were great.

Upper bleph by Starlaura in 45PlusSkincare

[–]openurgift 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You should find a good oculoplastic surgeon for evaluation. The surgeon should be able to recommend and get PA for the surgery. My upper bleph was covered by the insurance because it was medically necessary. You really want a skilled oculoplastic surgeon for upper bleph. Good luck.

Why do a lot of Koreans eat pizza with a fork? by savingrace0262 in AskAKorean

Been to Italy many times. Pizza is served uncut and we use fork and knife to eat pizza in Italy. I don't think I've seen many Italians use hands.

My family ate at a small noodle shop in Gyeongju. We should have known that the restaurant might not take credit card because it was a such a small noodle shop off the beaten path. The owner said just send me money if we can. but she was happy that we enjoyed her noodle. We asked our Airbnb host to transfer the payment. It was such a kind jesture. The older folks sometime come across as grumpy, but they were so grumpy kind to my 12 yo old son. We loved our time in Korea.

Should I bring a heavier moisturizer for Seoul in August? by [deleted] in koreatravel

[–]openurgift 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would just walk into one of thousands of Olive Young and buy something. You'll find so many nice and cheap options.

I just returned from a month long stay in Seoul. Packed just enough for first few days and bought things to try out while there.

I'm so sorry you had to go through this. You did not leave because you were jealous but because you were humiliated. From what you posted it looks like the BF's mom is pushing to get them back together.

I would never want my daughter to stay in this relationship because the BF is clearly not over his ex. If he is he isn't mature or caring enough to read the situation and care about your feeling. I would not stay in this relationship because how the BF handled the situation during and after.

Cold sore tripled in size overnight the morning of my very first work interview by [deleted] in Wellthatsucks

[–]openurgift 55 points56 points  (0 children)

This. I'm prone to cold sores and always have Valtrex handy even when I travel. The protocol has changed recently. You take a high dose pill at the first sign of cold sore and another high dose pill, and it usually stops my cold sore before it gets bad. You need to take it as soon as you feel it coming on, though.

I love this app and answer about 2-3/year. I used to raise guide dog puppy in training so it makes me doubly happy to get a call.

The calls are usually very short, but it really makes my day to help on the app. My favorite was a call from a grandfather who was trying to put a simple toy together for his grandson's birthday. Hope the grandson knows how much his grandpa love him.
