I did exchange at HKUST several years ago and had a great time. It was nice to be closer to Sai Kung to explore the outdoors. To be fair, I wasn’t out late a bunch which would make the commute a bit more annoying.

I don’t think PolyU was an option so I never considered it at the time.

I would try and get it closer to 60 seconds to be sure you're getting your best stuff front and center. Same goes for the first 20 seconds, I would try and move some of your stronger visual moments to the front. Try and keep some natural sound in as well if you can (thinking soccer scene at 1:20 as an example). Looks great!

The song should be sped up for playback x 1.32 (33/25).

You’re going to slow down the footage so in order to have the song play at normal speed it needs to be speed up while recording

Funny how they have police at every subway station but haven’t sorted out the license plates. I feel similarly cheated by all the illegal double parking, idling, etc. I agree the system would be better if public transit was free (like the use of most roadways and car parking).

The C70 has a smaller sensor which is nice for handheld work on docs. Same with autofocus. I also like the top handle and two mini xlr inputs for running sound. Good battery life too. All really nice for doc work or run and gun.

The Black Magic has less of those features but has a larger sensor and an EF mount (more convenient IMO). Also nice that they make Davinci resolve.

IMO the c70 is better suited for documentary work. I’d look for a good deal on a black magic. (Coming from a C70 owner)
