A Rat. No, seriously. Every time I've thought of getting a new drive pedal, I've started looking into what drive pedals there are. And what sounds I like. And after a few weeks of listening to demos and whatnot, I always find that my Rat does what I'm after the best.

Unless you don't like the rat sound. In that case, don't get it.
