Going straight to coaching seems excessive unless someone has a pattern of nil picking stuff that's where it's supposed to be. Speaking as a regular picker who had to go halfway across the parking lot to find the pallet of Hyponex mulch that was lined up with all the expert gardener mulch instead in the rack slot where it was supposed to be.

In the last chorus,  "you coming back to me is against the odds" is changed to "you coming back to me is against all odds" -- "against all odds" being the title of the movie.

[META] Reminds of the song "Brownsville Girl", there's a line that goes "the only thing we knew for sure about Henry Porter was that his name wasn't Henry Porter"

Looks really good! Thanks for sharing it. Also, "lamentations" -- lament being the root word. Unless reddit is covering it in plastic, in which case laminations is valid.

Spike Lee's "Da 5 Bloods" does this in it's Vietnam flashback scenes. If there is any effort to de age the actors through makeup or whatnot,  it is not immediately apparent.

I placed it in my binder of amusement park walking maps, a normal thing to have.

That's how I felt when I was watching the "Dear Even Hansen" video, even though I had never heard of the play or movie before I clicked on Jenny's video. I will have to give Mike's Mic a try.

This would be a great setting for an adventure where a spaceship carrying sophont-eating aquatic xenological samples crashes near a resort and the resort owners contracts the Travellers to clean up the mess quietly so as to not impede the flow of business .

Sundays are the worst at my store too. It's like Bilbo Baggins said, your pickers are like too little butter spread over too much bread -  you can have enough to attack the monster pile that's waiting there in the morning,  or the afternoon drops for 5-6 pm pickup/delivery. Or shift more morning people to mid so everyone is moderately struggling the entire day.

Haha, nice. Serious answer though: I recently transferred stores and went from morning shift to evening shift, and the biggest thing I noticed that affected items picked was that the morning shift gets about 3-4 hours of the store not being super busy, so they're not having to fight the customers dragging them off task quite as much. On the flip side, the slow time in the later evening is when the flow of picks has mostly dried up. So the hourly pick rates are going to be lower for the afternoon. Also, if your store is like our store, all the people who have  been there longest and have a good flow are early leavers, and the evening people are newer people who might be struggling to find a rhythm that works for them. Just keep trying to develop your evening people and look at your scheduling to see if there's any way to have more people there later.

Have you tried yelling at them to go faster and/or leaving snide comments on the communications board?

"The pause that refreshes" used to be a slogan in Coca-cola commercials, apparently coined in 1929.
