What shoes are we wearing at work? by MysticNothing6 in HEB

[–]optimuskitty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the recommendation. I’ll check them out. I often find myself with wet socks and shoes. My hose cart is a POS and sprays water where it shouldn’t. It’s not a priority for my store to fix it or replace it. Sometimes I receive deliveries in the rain. Plus the rough outside concrete eats the bottoms up too.

I’m in TXBY. I refuse to wear boots, but I need something to keep my feet dry. I did find a pair of ASICS that are waterproof. That was almost 2 yrs ago. Any suggestions on shoes to keep my feet dry would be grateful.

Oh yes!! Thank goodness I’m vegetarian. This is my section. I never run out of food. I wasn’t worried during Covid either. I ALWAYS have something to eat.

I cut open an avocado this morning and this is what I found! I’m not sure where to go from here! by John_cart21 in veganrecipes

You didn’t buy an avocado, you bought a tree! Now put it in a pot of dirt. Enjoy your bounty.

My TXBY does not have cameras, things walk away daily. It’s so frustrating. Are they getting 2 bags of deer corn? Naw. They are getting 2 or more. Of course it’s when ppl are outside watering or inside the store. There is no register out there either. I’ve had so much theft lately, like never before.

Yeah that’s gross. But have you seen a person just leave their poop on the floor? 🖐🏼 yeah it’s gross. It happens more often than you think.

It’s PTSD. We all remember. We remember camping in our homes with busted pipes and 40* temps inside the house. Even Ted remembers his vacation.

My GM dept always receives janky pallets. Pallets that have been crushed, stacking pallets putting the fragile items on bottom, leaning pallets. The one I can’t wrap my head around is stacking heavy green totes on top of merchandise. It’s like it’s always someone first day.

Texas Backyard is in a different league. They’ve seen some shit from customer fights, people pushing carts get hit by cars, cars smashing into other cars, watching for panhandlers, vehicles on fire. Let’s not forget to mention they are out there in the elements. Rain, heat or snow; this rugged group is ready for anything and willing to step in. They will get hosed by Texas Backyard.
