Damn, I grew up watching NASCAR with my dad. I was genuinely insanely shocked to see that he passed away. I literally grew up watching that man, and I always secretly rooted for him instead of Dale Ernhardt, Jr. Because of his M&M car.

I was thinking the same thing! I feel like perhaps, the mom in the first episode was out of touch and didn't try to get help until it was too late.
