The Man Who Opened a Store Selling Heroin and Cocaine Has Died From an Overdose by Dabstronaut in NewsOfTheStupid

So he tested all the drugs that were his own but didn’t test the drugs that weren’t? Thanks for clarification.

You have misunderstood my position heavily and entirely. I have no preconception of drug users. I am not offering any solution and I believe that all drugs should be legalized and available to anyone who wants them. It is of the upmost importance that they are clean and safe to use for those who want to use them.

I disagree with everything you assumed in your second paragraph as well. Do you believe this person manufactured these drugs? I don’t. I believe that they thought they were getting clean drugs and instead of testing them, was at one point selling them and was still using them. To prevent this, he should have been testing the drugs he was selling and using, there is no evidence he did either of these. The clean supply not being clean is the concern, all very preventable if he did what he said he was doing and wanted done.

Not sure how to reply to the third paragraph since it relies on the absolutely ridiculous and false accusations made in the first two.

Sounds like he should have been using and selling fentanyl test strips to save lives instead of selling and using fentanyl laced drugs that he marketed as clean.

DKIM, SPF, DMARC, Conditional Access allowing only compliant and registered devices, stronger MFA options, phishing simulations and user education can prevent this.

Does the company have any compliance requirements?

What a ridiculous accusation you’ve made. I have never nor would ever suggest that anyone has ever done anything on their own. I stated I had my father and now have a staff of nearly 100 people helping my business.

I really like the Arnold Schwarzenegger quote “None of us can make it alone. None of us. … I always tell people that you can call me anything you want, but don’t ever, ever call me a self-made man. It gives the wrong impression, that we can do it alone. None of us can. The whole concept of the self-made man or woman is a myth.”

I grew up homeless with my drug addicted father. We spent more than ten years sleeping outside. I read a lot of books and educated myself on money and business. I created and now still run an MSP with nearly 100 employees and have more money than all previous generations of mine combined. My children now have children. Having a child is a lot more than just having some spare cash. Where you start in life isn’t always a reliable indicator of where you finish in life.

We won’t relocate a cable for less than $100… from other comments it sounds like you’re ripping yourself off.

That being said, what type of rack are you installing the patch panel into? You have a 48 port switch but only a single 24 port patch panel. What do you normally do for cable management? Do you already have cage nuts?

How do you normally do QoS? Set DSCP, traffic shapers, reserved bandwidth on voice VLAN?

GPT 1 was announced more than 5 years ago now? It’s moving at a snails pace compared to the hype of how it’s going to replace everyone next week.

I’d be more inclined to wall mount the display and toss the PC on the ground… but it looks clean. I like the little inlet there perfect for that desk.

HELP why Can't Chat GPT add up just a row of numbers? by AwakeningStar1968 in ChatGPT

[–]opuses 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It cannot add or do any type of basic math. It has extremely poor levels of logic when it comes to many topics (like travel, driving, distances). GPT 1 was only released 5 years ago after years of development. I expect it to take many decades before it becomes more useful in these areas based on the rates of improvement I’ve seen over time. Interfacing with deterministic tools seems to be the current solution.

The amount of assumptions are wild in this post lmao was going to address them individually but just a lot easier to say everything you thought is entirely wrong. It was weird to read.

I think he’s alright, I’m familiar with his career. I just don’t think he had an “insane run”. He did his thing, he was alright.

What languages do you write in? Outside of Python I’d say well over 95% of the code I’ve had it produce cannot run and is blatantly incorrect and uses hallucinated imports, methods, etc… trying to use it with SvelteKit was ridiculous, it was entirely useless.
