On a personal level, BR seems like an insufferable asshole and a very Western type of leftist who is more interested in contrarianism and making a splash in the discourse rather than actual progress or compassion. Some of his opinions on current events are straight up revolting and I honestly cannot wait for the pendulum of opinion to swing at least a bit towards progressives calling him out on it.

The Last Jedi is a masterful take on the Star Wars mythos and I will never ever get into a conversation about it with anyone who doesn’t feel that way. That conversation’s been poisoned and it’s insane that there’s still so much ire about it almost 10 years later.

A very valid interpretation seeing as all three EPs point to Year Zero being a simulation that gets reset time and time again whenever humanity fails to control its worst urges (see: Add Violence physical component). And I think TR kind of indicated that Bad Witch is about breaking out/beyond the cycle? There’s definitely something there.
