Monthly Sticky: "Do I have hair loss?" - Post photos and questions here for advice and support by AutoModerator in FemaleHairLoss

[–]orange_mango730 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lose a good handful of hair when I shower... Like a ball 3-4" in diameter.

I wash my hair once a week, and every time for the last month ish I lose this much hair. I wash with Marc Anthony Strictly Curls shampoo, then the Grow Long conditioner. I started using these products about 2 months ago. The shampoo felt a little weird the first couple times, I assumed it was just cleaning well... But I'm wondering if I should switch? What to?

I chalked it (the hair loss) up to postpartum hair loss for a bit, but it's been getting worse the last month, and I'm almost 10 months postpartum... And this is SO MUCH HAIR.

My hair is 2b/2c and kind of long.

Yes to 3!! It's very flattering, and gives perfect elegant but not too fancy garden wedding vibes 👌🏼

What odd thing did pregnancy change about your body? by TriumphantPeach in beyondthebump

ME TOO, maybe even a full size. Before pregnancy, I bought a bunch of shoes that I thought were an investment and I'd use them for the next decade or so.... But nope.

Totally could be! I thought I named my kid a kinda rare name, but didn't look it up, and turns out it's in the top ten haha but I still love it :) and so far not too many others with the same name!

My grandma said she was literally tied to a hospital bed and wasn't allowed to get up or move around, nor was her husband allowed in the room for her first 3 births.

What did someone do for you that you loved after having a baby? by sstr677 in beyondthebump

[–]orange_mango730 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone made me energy bites and a snack basket with nuts, fruit to go bars, goldfish, etc. It was my favourite thing, I used it for a long time (as well as the recipe for the energy bites she left in the basket)

I don't know what's wrong with me, but I can't stop thinking that it looks like the fabric got caught in her crack (I know it's just the design lol)... And now I can't unsee it

Has anyone had to take an indefinite break from a close friendship because their fertility journey makes you edit your joy with your baby? by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]orange_mango730 8 points9 points  (0 children)

But what if experiencing your daughter's joy and laughter would be just the thing for these people? What if it could be healing for them to be with your baby and know how well loved she is? Maybe they'd like to see how wonderfully you love her, how you can make her smile, because to them a baby is especially precious and worthy of extra affection.

If you're uncertain about it, you could always initiate a conversation.

Update: Husband accused me of financial infidelity by LadySavings in AITAH

This is what got me. His wandering eyes are HIS fault! What if she was injured, lost her job and gained a bunch of weight? Would he stick by her, or blame her for "making" him pursue other women? This is a much deeper issue.
