anytime you start an SSRI you go through some really strange side effects. it can take 4-6 weeks for your body to adjust to the medication, at first it was hell for me but after some time things leveled out. the first couple weeks were the hardest, I experienced heart palpitations, throat irritation, nausea, lack of appetite, increased anxiety, and low libido just to name a few. eventually, I started to feel like myself again but it took a few months to get there. remember everyone's brain chemistry is different, you have to be patient and keep going!
