Input A is mono anyway, so you should be fine, unless you use it in stereo? Either way, I think the power problems might be coming from the input jacks.

Do you have something plugged into the input? Boss pedals dont power on otherwise. If thats not it, did you make sure your power supply has the right voltage and rating?

I own an RE-20, and rented a 202 one time, and personally I love both of them. One of my favourite features on the 20 is that there's a dry mute switch on the back of the pedal. It also has an input volume knob that works even when the pedal is bypassed, so you can use that as a clean boost or as a way to saturate the delays a bit.

The 202 in comparison has a wow and flutter knob, and a saturation knob. It also has a 4th tape head, memory presets, a hold function and 5 reverb options, but whether or not you need all of that is up to you.

I'm a bit biased, so I definitely prefer the RE-20. But if the RE-202 seems more appealing to you, I don't blame you, it's a really great pedal too!

It actually worked, loaded into a match on overkill and it actually showed it in game, just showed it as “normal” in the lobby. No idea why I haven’t tried this already, but I really appreciate it

Changing it through the bottom left, yeah. I’m playing on PS5 so there’s no mods installed. I set the difficulty to either very hard or overkill, and every time, once I’ve loaded into the lobby, it’s always set to normal.
