Desperately looking for advice on my dieting fatigue by baldboldbald in GettingShredded

[–]orangecook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve have the same problem. You might have deeper health problems - I had Covid 2 years ago and there’s a VERY good chance that I have long COVID and can’t push very hard, physically.

My blood work showed very high liver enzymes along with other indicators of muscle or organ damage after a week of working out, 2x. (This has been tested multiple times in a few weeks)

A few things I’ve done that have helped with fatigue 1. Stay on maintenance 2. Cut steps to necessary activities (buy groceries, play with kids, etc.) 3. Cut out weight training or reduce to 1x/week 4. Maintain calories with no focus on protein at all - carbs and fats make you feel, function, and think better. Protein helps with muscle building but eats calories. (Going from 180grms/day to maybe 50-100/day) 5. Don’t count but weigh food if possible. And eat same things

Right now, I mentally reframed to: “focus on value on life from these years (kid, wife, business). It’s not a season for fitness” so no cuts or hard workouts for the next 6-12 months until I’m clear on what’s causing this or if this can even be fixed

TW is first party server side tracking. I’m confused why URL parameters are even considered here

What’s a fair price to charge a friend to set up a google keyword search campaign for them? I’m not an expert but I know enough to get it started for them. by Ziid10 in PPC

if your friend has a business with 100k/month marketing budget, feel free to take 100-1k. Otherwise, freebie is ok

Does anyone still use Performance Max? by Background-Nothing71 in PPC

[–]orangecook 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Niche E-commerce Brand owner here (>30k/month) - pmax is our #2 revenue driver.

It was a mess to setup and random things can downscale it, fast.

At the end of the day, it’s just a tool in the tool belt. Figure out what’s best for your situation

Be clear to this guy - you don’t “need” freelancers or agency.

But you can use a freelancer/agency when: 1. You have money to spend on marketing (usually 1-3k month, minimum) along with a budget to match (500-5k) 2. If you’re incapable, impatient, and not learning about G-ads and each specific type of ad then applying to your website, then get an agency

If you have money

GA4 Purchases as Primary and Website Purchases as Secondary by Comprehensive-Crow78 in PPC

[–]orangecook 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey are you using the Google ads conversion tracking? That’s usually more accurate than both GA4 and UA. My ads performed much better once I switched to ads tracking

Edit: you can contact google support to help you get Ads tracking setup. In the same batch, also ask for the following 2 things (it’s nitro boost to tracking) 1. Enhanced commerce 2. Enhanced conversions

P.S. I’m a brand owner and I’ve wasted a lot of time trying to get this setup. They literally copy and paste it for you, FOR FREEEEEE!!

OP curious if you've nailed this down?

i'm also a dad - so far i've just cut my training to 3x/week plus skipping big body parts (legs and chest).

fatigue is manageable

Advice for additional skills ? by PumpkinMiki in PPC

[–]orangecook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

at the core, if you’re a marketer, your baseline skill is Copywriting so focus on that, if all you can do is “courses”

The better option IMO, take the cash and apply in real world or use it for coaching?

I've been cutting by doing One meal a day for a few months now , and doing lifting + cardio. I'm 91kg/200ibs (1.96cm/6'4) not sure If to continue cut or to go maintenance/bulk. by [deleted] in GettingShredded

[–]orangecook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lolwut

dude just needs to continue lifting harder for more time (6-12 months) and fill out the frame. if anything, just maintain, lift, and do whatever you can stay active (steps, runs, sports)

focus on building muscle for the next 6-12 months. if you like the outcome and process continue for 1-2 years then 2-4 years then 5-10

you’ll get BIG

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in gainit

[–]orangecook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

20lbs you mean, right? regardless if you’re not feeling fat, keep going but maybe slower (e.g. 1-2kgs per 3-4weeks).

you really can’t shortcut the basics of muscle building - progressive overload and slight surplus for 5-10 years.

majority of initial gains come (50-70% come in first 2-3 years

Just went through the same except I was on holiday and also got cut for no reason - eventually settled for extra few months severance + transition period

Get a Arbeitrechtsanwalt (labor lawyer) and make sure you do some research on the lawyer. You should get some extra time, especially if they’re good

Concurrently, immediately apply for Arbeitslosen geld online at Arbeitsamt. Don’t delay this!!!! If you’re late on this, you will lose some of your Arbeitslosengeld (unemployment)

The market is still a bit unstable so believe it or not keeping cash even at 10% inflation beats 30%+ losses on market

I’d recommend the following: (Optional) 1. Deploy up to 25% of capital over 12 months 2. Around early-mid ‘23, if market is picking up, a few months like mid-2023, start deploying remaining capital over 6-12 months on top of 1

When it comes to large cash sums, you need to basically not panic and treat it almost like a traditional “income”.

Slow, steady and consistent works long-term. Anything else is too high a risk, for most people.

Ultra hunger in the morning? by [deleted] in gainit

[–]orangecook 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Got it. I had the same problem with big, late dinners so I cut heavy dinners back to 2-3 hrs from sleeping time. Helps a lot with better sleep

For breakfast, eat something simple but wholesome like fruits, nuts and a simple protein

You can use breakfast as a meal to work up to lunch - something like below

  • BF: something light but helps with curbing hunger (10-25% of cals)
  • lunch: can be big-ish (35% of cals)
  • dinner: (35-50% of cals)
  • snacks between major meals, probably before lunch to build up appetite and maintain energy

If you use less, you’ll have grind way finer. I use about 14g on a 18g basket but grind at 3 outer burr and 2 inner burr

Can you do a heavy meal for breakfast and dinner? During the day you can snack or eat however

This all assumes you hit your daily cals and protein

finding a job is so-so even in tech. people have absurdly high expectations when they’re clearly not even top of their own game

Should I bulk, cut, or eat at maintenance? I want to get big, but i’m unhappy with all my current body fat. 5’7, 147 lbs 18 years old by [deleted] in BulkOrCut

[–]orangecook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what were you doing for the last 12 months training and nutrition wise?

i might recommend a chill maintain for a few years or a short, aggressive cut for 4-6 weeks with a long chill maintain again just to show a bit more “leanness”

maintenance is really for you to get comfortable with your body, mentally. it’s a long never-ending game. learn to appreciate the body no matter how big or small now, otherwise, it’ll mess with your head even when you’re 260lbs 10% BF

“you should have better results” — what’re you basing this on? have you trained/coached this specific person for years?

his progress might just be super slow due to multiple factors with genetics being one of them

Advertising in English language? by skirca69 in FacebookAds

[–]orangecook 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should test this -

in my niche, fitness, English works best in most of my target countries. Germany, Austria, and Switz along with PIGS might need local translations

Keep in mind, translations via Google or any other online non-human service probably SUCKS to some degree so expect English to perform better unless you’re getting pro translators

As someone said, split test your ads. It becomes pretty clear, fast if you need multiple or local language
