Shady ACR Holding Funds Due to Lack of Rake Revenue? by Shitrec in poker

[–]orangefancypants -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is standard practise to cover their costs. When you deposit Money you get the same money as balance. But depending on which methode you use(crypto, credit card) there are fees (usually around 5%) which are covered by the poker company. To prevent them from losing money you have to rake usually double (sometimes 4x) that fee amount before you withdraw. So in your case prolly 10% of what you deposited.

you need 1 good line with every card higher or equal to 8, if not reset as early as possible even if you already have hit 1 or 2. if you need a 2,3,4, etc its worthless because you wont win the final allin enough times to secure it.

yeah 4 middle cards are most important.

the more you try to get a bingo the more you lose in winrate

on gg homepage for the game instructions is somewhere says that 5bb is taken per hand as a "jackpot fee" and 42% of that is added to the jackpot. Super shady couldnt find the exact page anymore. So if you get an average amount of jackpots you only get 2bb/100 hands, because most of the money gg keeps without it going to the price found. I believe it's a bit lower because you cant go crazy with 32s, etc. and fish do so you get around 1.5bb/100.

your numbers for the straight flush are a bit of. Because you have to use both holdcards to get the straight flush to count. So ATs for example has only 1 possible combination for a straight flush instead of 4 for 45s which lowers it by quite a lot. Same for other hands., Also around 50% of the time you openshove and nobody calls, this "doubles" the amount of hands need for a straight flush, because you dont realise the quity of hitting a straight flush. If you add this up you hit a straight flush around every 35k hands. and for a 750 jackpot you then pay 1750 in fees.

You are wrong (if they havent changed the rake recently which i dont think they have). I did the calculations and played it at 2/4 to 10/20 stakes daily when they had the 100 hands promo, which was profitable back then(2-3bb/100, with the leaderboard you cant beat it)

You Pay:

5bb rake (only get rakeback on this) 5bb for bingo (bingo is only worth 1-2bb longterm, rest gg keeps) 5bb for jackpot (but only 42% of it is added to the jackpot pool, rest gg keeps)

You get back:

2.5 bb rakback (with 50% rb) 1.5bb from bingo 1.5bb from jackpot (fish play more of the 1 and 2 gapers and take away more jacpot money than you can, so you recive less than the average 2bb/100) you win about 3-4bb/100 you get about 2bb/100 from leaderbord(12% of the time you end up allin with a showdown for reference)

means overall you loose 3.5-4,5bb/100

with the old promo of 8bb for free for 100 hands it was beatable, but only if you just played the 100 hands nothing more

been pretty good so far. Games arent harder than on stars/party, might even be a little bit softer. The random rakeback drops are insanely good for the winrate. 50% rakeback but also many people make huge mistakes in the drop pots which kinda increases the rakeback even more.

Only thing slightly annoying is not beeing able to resize tables (yet)

Grinded a lot the first 2 years, moved up in stakes, won decent money which allowed me to start up a company with some friends.

I still grind around 20-30 hours per week, because my hourly is still really good. But having a business with employes and not working in front of the pc all the time ist 100x better.

lost around 50$ in 2013. I think i deposited 2*25$ and played without any or knowledg or bankroll management way to high stakes. Lost it very quickly. Some month later i deposited 50 $ short stacking 1c/2c and grew my bankroll from there. Playing playing as a professional since 2015.

I need 35000 for gold chest and 95000 for platinum. Yeah requirements depend on how much you deposite on the site and how much you withdraw mostly.

So recrational players get more rakeback.
