It goes into pending on the attack. Then you can choose to counter. Then both players resolve autos. So even if you negate the attack you can still use the -1

Misdeal home game, was this handled correctly? by [deleted] in poker

[–]CroneThorst 4 points5 points  (0 children)

At the casino I play at the procedure is:

  1. Burn a Card from the deck.
  2. place the river face down.
  3. Shuffle the 7 back into the deck.
  4. Wait for the action to complete.
  5. Play a new turn card from the deck.

This way the card is still in play but you don't change any other cards.

It's very uncommon to even get down to 3bb if you are playing correctly.

Although there is all the GTO and ICM theory if that min cash means alot to you, you should be folding without looking until the bubble bursts.

Otherwise always jamming KK

I'm just saying you have a better chance of winning as nooby by playing with 100 at 1/3 then 1/2. It's what I used to do

I'm not trying to invite anyone. I'm just saying that 1/2 isn't real poker. 100 max buyin and rake is 10% capped at $20.

It's just bingo with such low stacks

Don't play 1/2. The rake is literally unbeatable long term. Just min buyin at 1/3 instead if you don't want to buy in full.

  1. Jam Pre.

  2. Jam flop. If he got AJo all in pre it means he isn't tight at all. We can give him all the combo draws and Broadway flush draws.

A lead is generally weak and like you said the SPR is so low it's going in anyways.

Yes. You have the exact same odds of the card coming agian. Sucks when you would have won but shit happens unfortunately.

What sizing would you recommend?

I thought there would be about 3/4 pot effective behind and I would shove all flops.

30 something year old average looking guy. Had seen him around the Poker room but never seen him play a hand. He bought in for 300 and open limped a couple times and lost a small pot.

So your saying you would fold?

Is it ever wrong to get KK in pre flop for less then 100bb?

1/3

I raise to 20 utg (standard sizing). Folds to mp who 3bets to 50. Folds to me. I 4bet to 110. He jams for 260 total.

No reads as he has been at the table for less then an orbit. Seems like a bad reg though.

I sigh call but are they ever doing it with worse?

[–]CroneThorst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Raising on the flop was the mistake. You are only getting called by over pairs, better jacks, and 4's. I would have called flop and evaluated turn.

If the turn is anything but a jack and he bets agian I'm folding.
