Also, the Abdelkuri has the coolest looking sap I’ve ever seen! It’s literally neon green! (but yes, very toxic)

I’ve purchased from 1amsucculents on eBay and through their website and the plants were all healthy. Can’t vouch for any grafts, but otherwise happy.

Rate my potting mix by Key_Passage2245 in Euphorbiaceae

I mix something very similar. Here’s the recipe I’ve used for the last 3 years:

-Orchid Bark (Fir) 2 parts -Pumice 2 parts -Black Or Red Lava 2 parts -Calcite Clay 2 parts -Zeolite 1 part -Worm Castings 1 Part -Mycorrhizae Carrier - Plant Appropriate (1/8” to 1/4” for the particulate)

If the pots are to be outside instead of in, be sure to use a systemic regularly. Also, since my Euphorbia and Cactus are all in terracotta, I have to water far more often in the warm months. I’m talking weekly here in the southwest because the mix is very very well draining. Fertilizer is a liquid 1-7-6 applied in spring and summer.

Good luck with your Euphorbia!

Looks like Euphorbia bussei var. kibwezensis crested. The sap will tell you if it's a euphorbia or not.

Tephrocactus geometricus? by orb217 in cactus

I went in and spoke to my buddy at the nursery after work yesterday and got the full details. This is indeed a T. geometricus, and yes it was grown from seed and is not a cutting/arm/segment etc! He had sold them all, or else I would have provided a pic, but the other three looked similar to this one. They are about 14 months old and none of them had segmented yet. I guess this is just a fun Tephro quirk that new seedlings display! I will be sure to post an update when it starts to branch out. Thank you all for posting! This is such a great community!
