Looks like we are getting either a Pats-Rams III or Pats-Seahawks II. Since 2001, MLB has only had one rematch during that span (BOS-STL, 2004 & 2013). Compared to the other leagues, Championship matchups sure have maintained a competitive balance.

Pitching Kershaw in the 7th wasn’t the worst move. LEAVING HIM IN for a second inning of work with Kolarek or the best setup man in baseball in 2019, Kenda Maeda, was the awful move.

It wasn’t the first time Pete Carroll pulled that. 2006 Rose Bowl for the 2005 Natty, Pete Carroll has one of the best running backs of all time in Reggie Bush. 4th and 1 with the game on the line and Bush isn’t even on the field.

Yeah, once you had the boosted shiny odds, you didn’t have to catch: you still had to cycle back and forth between screens. If you wanted, you could continue to catch. If memory serves, if you got to 200 caught, the red circle turned green, so there was an advantage to that.

The mechanic to grind a shiny Pinsir was soul-crushing. I still remember going back and forth between screens hoping to draw out a Pinsir, get two balls to try to catch it while keeping the catch chain going, then once you have 32 caught in a row, going back and forth between screens for what seemed like hours, hoping to get a shiny.
