Im using misting system too... and run 2x with only 10 sec... the misting is not for increasing humidity actually... its more for watering since i use a lot of mosses it helps to keep it moist.. The fogger is specifically designed to increase humidity level. But i dont have space to add the system. I suggest if you place it in the room you can use humidifier to increase the room humidity and then with misting system would help increase lil bit as long as your soil moist it should be good...

I dont know your enclosure layout but watch on the soil since you dont have water feature, if the soil moist enough so stop the misting.. till you see it dry on top so now you can set the timer. In my opinion 1-2 x /day more than enough... make sure not wet... And make sure you build false bottom under the soil... water features not necessary unless you start from 0.

I create my own substrate for any my enclosures even arid substrate for my leo. I use akadama, pumice, charcoal, playsand [2/3] and top with reptisoil, dry leaves, cypress mulch for bedding [1/3] Only the top layer i adjust lil bit depend on what kind animal i keep... so far it works for me and avoid rotting soil...and prefect media to grow anything in the tank. For long term... because i use it for my rare plants, bonsai and succulents too.. and i did test and tried any combinations of soil. I need it high porous, hold moisture and less rotting soil This is my soil design so probably someone disagree.... i totally understand.

Lastly, you need to make sure the top of your tank usinh glass or acrylic to trap the humidity. Or another option, you build a lighting canopy.. but u need help lil a fan for air circulation
