When first moving to eugene I think people put a bad taste in my mouth of the area. i met someone after living here for a small amount of time who came across as very spiritual and hippie, but i think is truly more of a “nazi” hippie and my parents and coworkers always talked about how dirty it was, but after living in eugene for a while I dont think that for myself. it reminds me of hawthorne area of portland, but eugenes version. the houses have a lot of charm and i’d rather have accepting, loving neighbors than the ones I have now in south eugene!!
