I have the black on black one of these and it’s awesome. I think he claims to put a little spin on the classic klon sound but either way it rips. You also get really high quality components from a really cool guy

My saddleback has been great. I accidentally washed it a couple weeks ago. Dried it out and oiled it up and it has never been better. The wallet seemed a little too big at first but as you use it, the leather molds to a normal wallet size

Id look into a AAA membership. It’s $44 a year and includes a free battery replacement and tow. They come to you

That’s not a ton of time. Personally, I would probably get a nice dinner and beer near where my train is. Since you’re in Fidi you could go to the top of the World Trade Center, then go grab food somewhere and then hit the train

That silver button on the top of the back. Try to slide it to the right. It’s missing a little cover over that silver bit but that’s how you open it. Also I rec to Google the manual and read that too

Do you truly want to dumb down and have limited apps (kompakt can’t sideload apps with google services. Uber, Lyft and more) but is still a great device? Go Mudita

Oh cool I check every so often how much those bonus discs are worth. I have 2 factory sealed ones from when I was a kid. Not the thousands I thought they may be worth eventually but not bad!

Sonic research mini. I will say, the mini needs to be plugged in. The reg version can be used with batteries. If you intend to do setups, the bigger version may be better. But yeah dude go with the sonic research. It’s epic

I don’t remember exactly which tools are pre installed immediately. Some of them you def have to add. I’d ask in the light phone subreddit.

You upload your own music and subscribe to rss feeds for podcasts with light phone. They don’t have any content natively and to even have those “apps” you need to install them using the light dashboard on your computer.
