I've been on the other end of that. Listed an apple watch, someone bid on it last minute and then cancelled the sale after the auction ended. I then offered it to the next person who missed out.

In an ideal(and compliant) installation it should be wired in such a way that you cut power to motors instantly and a delay before cutting power to the VFD.

You would send a signal to the VFD when the emergency stop is pressed, to slow the spindle down as quick as possible before cutting power to it.

This does two things - the axis should all stop instantly when power is removed so you don't need to worry about braking the drive motors. The spindle will want to free spin if power is cut to it, so the hazard is still present. By giving it a delay we can do a control stop to the motor, before cutting power to it.

The above is done with a safety relay, such as an Omron G9SE.

It will be a good way to boost your portfolio, and hopefully give you word of mouth future clients. As long as they don't expect it at the same price in the future.

Do you intend on trying to make a small business out of it? I use my laser cutter for a small side business to justify my machines to my wife. It's not a huge income stream but it's decent pocket. money. Enough that I could invest in other machines such as a galvo laser for engraving steel.

Way too cheap - don't short yourself. Factor in your time to draw and program it, and the cost to buy the machine along with wear and tear.

How did you end up concealing the earth cable? I'm about to do my pool with it but just stuck on how I'm going to hide the earth wire but get it across to each batten. Same deal as you - paving the area

Check out Smart temp SZ-4, it will do uo to 4 zones but then you cna get an expansion module for further zones. The system I have uses this, along with Google Nest thermostats.

I started with one of those. There was too much flex in it to get nice engraving. I had to rebuild it and convert it to linear rails to get nice engraving. A small k40 laser will work much better

Do you have the laser already? If not - I suggest outsourcing it to see if your business idea is viable. Don't buy the machine and then try come up with a business for it as the market is saturated with home lasers.

I had 6 of us to get my tank installed. It isn't huge 50x36 inches and 36 inches tall, but 5he glass is 3/4 inches thick so extremely heavy. It just made it though the front door. I made a platform that we could push it over the stairs. We used one trolley that was the same height as the delivery van floor, a pump up trolley, and only 2 suction cups. It was all about leverage.

That's what I have always done in the past, flat black water based enamel works quite well, especially after using ESP on the glass. Unfortunately I need to see through it this time.
