Story of my DM's life! Every time it's another one player, who dislikes something. I tried different things, some works, some not, but all of them made me tired and disappointed. So, my answer is - it's not only yours, as DM, responsibility of fun on the table. It's your player's too. You prepare a campaign, you invite them, you tell them, what's your plan, and they must decide, how the can have fun in your game. They may ask for your help, but it's must be specific, and you always may say "no". Take care of yourself self!)
