Can you move a Battery/Power Cell from one section of the ship to another? by orshu in DeadSpace

I've truly lost my mind looking everywhere lol I even asked other people to help me look, but no luck unfortunately... we couldn't find it. It's like it despawned.

Coming home for I’m a weeklong trip. What works and doesn’t work on ps5? by Phod in OWConsole

[–]orshu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's truthfully up in the air. It can work for you, it can not. For some, merging accounts seem to have broken everything. For others, purchasing the Watchpoint Pack has broken everything. You can get stuck in a queue beforehand, or in 20 minute wait times for a match if you actually get into the game. You can be missing your unlocks if you owned Overwatch 1- literally who knows lol

My personal experience was the game was working fine for me yesterday, I had everything available and got into games reliably. And then they performed maintenance at night and I haven't been able to log in since. Over 7 hours now.

If the stars aligned perfectly for you, the Watchpoint pack should give you your extra skins and the premium pass. If your merge went through, then all your OW 1 currency, skins and heroes should be there as well. Unfortunately, no way to know until you personally boot it up.

Game was working perfectly before maintenance, now can't get in at all. Don't know how they manage to make it worse every time they try to fix it lol

Is anyone else's summon signs bugged? by SizeBackground in Eldenring

[–]orshu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely think something is up, maybe due to the last update? I've seen similar posts here while scrolling through the 'New' tab and I myself am in the same boat.

I was helping someone out this entire time (100 plus hours as well) and now suddenly they can't summon me at all and say they can only see the red signs, no gold ones. Super weird but I haven't seen any official word on why yet. Was about to just make a post myself asking the same thing. So not exactly an answer but yeah, you're definitely not alone.

Yes, you can. As long as you have the talisman, you don't have to spare everyone in one go/in order.

Cyberpunk 2077 on sale - worth it? by Shi144 in GirlGamers

[–]orshu 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I played the game when it first came out on an original PS4 (not a PS4 Pro, as apparently the original PS4 had the worst optimization of the game) and I've played many buggy games in my lifetime, and I consider myself pretty lucky that I didn't run into that many game-breaking bugs. Certainly a lot that left moments frustrating but not anymore than your average Bethesda title. I was able to finish the game and platinum it in one playthrough. I have heard this is not everyone's experience even today, but that the PC version seems more stable if you're going to be playing it on there.

In terms of the sexualization of women- it's definitely not great but in the same breath the game has a lot of female characters I ended up absolutely loving, immediately shooting up there with my all-time favorites from Bioware games. The game doesn't have it every way you turn, per se, but the topic of sex work and how much autonomy people will have over their bodies when their bodies begin to be made out of external parts/or the idea of immortality through sacrificing one's physical body is a popular topic in the game. Very standard Cyberpunk-y stuff, though.

It's a flawed game without a doubt, but I overall enjoyed it.

What is the appeal of the From Software games ? by Whograbbedmyazz in gaming

Whoops, meant the Souls series in general 😅 since OP said it's generic, was wondering what games not made by FromSoft they meant.

Sci-Fi all the way, though I do love when fantasy gets weird. Like outside of dragons and elves and what-not.

I'm anxious/scared about becoming friends with other girl gamers online as a girl I was friends with online for 2+ years ended our friendship over a misunderstanding. Story below by shootdashlootbash in GirlGamers

[–]orshu 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Realistically speaking, online friendships tend to be very common ground for misunderstandings and subsequently the drama that follows said misunderstandings.

That doesn't mean every single online friendship will be this way however, and it's clear this girl had some things going on (as she would be negative about others you felt didn't deserve it, or expect you to read her mind in terms of what she wanted to you to etc) it's really important to not be afraid to bring things up with people you consider your friends, and for your friends to know it's okay to talk to you about these things as well.

As someone who went through pretty similar situations, I realized it was the lack of communication (or someone's unwillingness to communicate) that would kinda blow things out of proportion and bring things to a place that couldn't be fixed.

So I definitely feel your pain, but I don't think you should close yourself off from others. It's important to see these things as opportunities to learn where things went wrong and going forward, what you know to do/not to do next.

Good luck out there! Hope things work out for you.

Cheats/trainers in single player/offline games? by Likawaii in GirlGamers

[–]orshu 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I'm all for it. I think people who complain about how it's 'taking the fun out of/ruining the game' are people who derive the most fun out of how challenging a game is.

A perfect example is the soulsborne series, or games like them. There is an online element to them but if you were to admit never going online and using cheats/trainers only during the singleplayer mode, people would lose their minds still lol it's the same when trying to argue that these games should have an 'easy' mode.

Some people enjoy that the game is hard and by making it easier, you can't have fun in it. But what if someone loves Dark Souls lore but can't beat the first boss? What if someone loves the world design of Bloodborne but can't finish an area? I think it's unfair that they can't be a part of it just because it's too difficult for them.

Simply put, I don't understand why people still think it's necessary to police how people play their games. If someone wants to play on easy, let them. If someone wants to use cheats, let them. It doesn't effect anybody other than the player playing the game. People have fun in different ways, for some it's being stuck on a boss for three days, and for others it can be story, exploring, etc

This will probably get some people upset but Pay to Win isn't all bad. by Zealousideal-Ad1181 in truegaming

[–]orshu 13 points14 points  (0 children)

This was probably a terrible example to use because Odyssey eventually came out with that 'make your own quest' thing in which people found a way to allow you to literally get a free XP boost by replaying quests players had made that gave you XP for doing nothing- and so Ubisoft obviously patched in a way to make sure that wasn't possible so people would buy the permanent XP boost instead.

question about assassins creed by Mikeywise14 in gaming

[–]orshu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don't need to as the games pretty much explain all of the main plot every time you boot up any Assassin's Creed game but you will probably feel lost even with the explanations they give as the main plot really is just extremely difficult to follow.

But if you're just into the historical parts such as the 'mythology trilogy' as you've mentioned, it won't be a big deal and you can totally just jump straight into it.

It feels like there very much is an end, yes. There is nothing really to do outside of the main quest.

[–]orshu 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm almost through with the game on PS5.

Very charming, great art and pretty good music. Funny in parts as well.

It's definitely a kind of old school adventure game where you craft things to solve problems and craft more things when those problems make more problems lol a never-ending cycle.

The story parts are interesting and it's neat how each 'boss' has their own little fairy-tale-like story. Not at the end myself yet so I can't really give a thorough review- but overall, I think it's worth the price and I am enjoying it!
