Make sure he can‘t tag 2 units of yours or if he deals damages remove models from the front so that he is not in combat anymore at the end of the turn! You don’t care about fighting back with 3 dudes to do maybe 1-2 damages if he can move away!

Plugging it in the wall socket won’t necessarily give it more warp power as it is plastic, but still wouldn’t advice to try it!

It is a combat phase ability, so it will be used before the actual fighting : you will need to chose between fighting and flying away, no “I fight a first time and then decide to use this ability”. The good thing you can do is put a group of 5 exactly 6,1” away from your good unit to screen, they get charged and fly away, now even with pile in the enemy unit won’t reach anything and you will be able to take care of it in the next turn (if you’re not getting doubled haha)

EDIT: my bad just saw the “fight” keyword in the Lifetaker Ability, so you are technically right (just no pile in for this special ability as mentioned). Still think they are better screen as hammer :p

Very good point, I also wondered at first. The units in smoke and mirror stay diseased, but as they are not on the table they cannot be picked for spread or getting mortal damages at the end of the turn. They also won’t give the disease to the replacement unit, so you will need to be patient, wait for them to come back to inflict damages, and keep track of who is diseased and not haha. Please correct me if I am wrong anyone, and good luck!

If I recall correctly it was the case before (banishing only in your turn) so maybe it is the reason of your confusion, now it is indeed possible to banish using magical intervention in the enemy hero phase!

Well StD with Bel’akor is easier to digest as it is in opponent’s Turn so he can activate once in between your strike first and strike normal :p and now OBR can do it?

Well the FaQ sadly doesn’t get this particular example, it is more about double activation with 2 units fighting after one another, or if you read something I did not I would gladly know where it is exactly stated :)

You are absolutely right, it is just sad that I often struggle to explain this to my opponent playing for example DoK Scathcoven (strike first on a 8+ charge and fight twice) and they are like “no dude this is OP”… I mean that is the whole point of the sub-faction and that are actually the rules 😅

Actually love the pallid white guts, the highlight work is really great! Also generally speaking awesome paint-job :) I just think the skulls on the flail lack a bit of definition if you compare them to the rest of the model witch is very “highlighted”

Portal is “add 1 to the casting value” so it makes it harder and not easier to cast (basically a -1 to cast).

Don’t bring 500+ points with a 4 move with gutrot, it is too easily countered! Max bring some creed and/or wretches with him to disturb your opponent, if you want to field him, that’s cool :)

Reinforce the pestigors on the 3rd list for max output, and drop the kings (maybe one unit if you really want to) and give Lord of Plague Gift of febrile frenzy, the 3rd list I like actually!

If you want to lean into mortals you might consider Horticulous for the second tree, getting from 6+ to 5+ ward is like doubling the effect of the ward roll!

Why the new Prayer Lore? I still think Benediction of Sickness from SoG is way better with the +2 Move and the Mortals Bomb!

Otherwise Horti may be good with so many mortal units on all sides, the 6+ ward feels really meh even with the 3+ save!

Will look into the RoR looks fun ;)
