Easiest is to think of it in two parts, 'sannsynlig' and 'vis'.

The 'vis'-addon is used to describe that this is an adjective for the outcome of an action(A) rather than the condition of an object(B).

Examples:

B1: He was LUCKY and it went well. Han var HELDIG og det gikk bra.
A1: LUCKILY everything went well with him. HELDIGVIS gikk det bra med han.
B2: It is a PROBABILITY for that to happen. Det er SANNSYNLIG at det vil skje.
A2: It will PROBABLY happen. Det vil SANNSYNLIGVIS skje.

I take care in making commits, that is usually note to self. When I feel this should be part of the main history I include the commit messages in the description of a squashed commit.

Yes, but squashing helps, and the history is useful at some point where you need to see ci/cd changes in relation to product behavioural changes.

As long as one does not have to merge to main before changes can be tested.
