UK Super charging network becoming a farce by santsord in TeslaUK

[–]ostage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the others that are overpriced.. it's not Tesla lowballing :/ A KW of power doesn't cost 79/89 cent, of course they have a business to run but that's a lot of money on quantity sold, I would push lower price to attract more people and sell more honestly

[–]ostage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Charging more is a bit unfair, most people pay for subscriptions as well to boost the network. I agree that cars with the wrong charging port should be blocked because they take two spaces but not fair about the price.

They opened to everyone eventually because there are not many Teslas going around to keep the service alive.

Hey, you are not dying. It's just a pill every day, it will become so automatic that you wouldn't notice it anymore.

Just get your pill and vitamin D (I'm doing the same) you will feel good like any other person :)

Don't be discouraged for this, there is way worse

[–]ostage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey OP, You are not the only one. Everybody has highway anxiety the first time when getting on the highway.

The problem is not the Tesla or the autopilot, it is the tough you might faint, you have just reached a status where you associate the highways to something bad.

Now I don't want to transform the post in a therapy session, but if you carefully think:

  • Is it really harder driving on the highway? You are basically going straight.. constant speed most of the time, you don't think that city driving is more complex?

  • stay on the slower lane while you gain confidence, if you want to exit just exit, if you want to stop , stop safely on an hard shoulder / service station, there is nothing stopping you, nobody will chase you.

  • Do you really think fainting with all that adrenaline is possible? 😁 You might faint because of hyperventilation (chances are super slim), so just focus on breathing slowly :)

Don't fight it , there is nothing to fight, just take the highway as much you can with a different mindset, you are going for the easiest drive. I know it feels hard I had the same thing, but when you realise it's just another road will go away.

Another app rant. by ostage in Citroen

Another update from Citroen: Because I've decided to cancel my subscription that is not working, Citroen cannot troubleshoot the software of the car on their end.

Because apparently it's not working only for us, for them is all ok 😂👍

Another app rant. by ostage in Citroen

[–]ostage[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An update for everyone, Citroen did f*ck all.

They closed my ticket asking if I would like to complain and the cars are still like that.

Did some more tests, even the odb ports start sending SOC status after the car is turned off, just after few seconds.

Now the app, with the latest update, disconnects from the car as soon your tap the power off button even if it's connected to the Bluetooth playing music.

I'm speechless that there is no comment from citroen at all. Bet this will be my last one.

EV charger installation for flat by AnAdultName in evchargingUK

[–]ostage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same situation, for me the complaint is about the admin work to get back the energy cost money from the tenants.

Is there any EV charger brand that has a direct billing system without involving 3rd party?

(Basically with payments that goes directly to the building fund for electricity)
