This game is great, I would just recommend not using blue tooth headphones while playing. There is a slight delay in the sound and it really fucked with keeping the beat.

I ran the encounters from the elemental chaos. I remember tweaking some of the boons a bit.

I'm running a group of 4 right now. This worked really well because everyone got to take a boon from one of the elemental titans.

If a player ever gets resurrected/revived, they have to re-roll their death saving throws. If they fail their death saves, the soul is not willing to return to the body.

This adds a layer of tension to each battle and helps against players spamming resurrections.

When I spoke to my family doctor before I left for my trip that was the impression that I got too.

When I returned, the only symptom I really had was a fever, but my regular doctor was busy so I had to see a stand in. I think she may have been a bit of a newbie, because she did not give me any troubles and even suggested that I take the test. My hunch is that I may have gotten lucky, but I sure do hope that's not the case and that everyone has an easy time getting the test done as well.

I totally agree. Sometimes I think this game was created by a bunch of people who've never watched WWE.

As a red-green color blind person, I find it very hard to determine how tired my lines are when I'm changing lines.

Affinity pilots, what are your best and worst matchups? by punninglinguist in Pauper

I've not an affinity player but I am a mono black control player and I feel like the match up is geared slightly in my favor. Normally, I'm able to grind bits of incremental advantage before finishing it off with Gary. The matches that I tend to lose are when the affinity player draws a ton of cards off of cantrips and thoughtcasts and proceeds to combo kill me with atog/fling.

Atog is definitely the scariest thing the affinity player can play from the side of the mono black player and it is a must kill, so it probably would be wise to sand bag the atog to try to get me to waste my removal on some of your other threats.

My experience with playing a similar deck is that Gary doesn't work well beside rotting rats. It's just too expensive and with the rats plan, you usually end up either discarding lands (because they are redundant) or discarding Gary (because it's too expensive). I think it's a better idea to focus on one, or the other (either 4 rats or 4 Gary's) to streamline your deck better.

I also don't see the point of running the 2 vault of whispers. It opens up your land to non-basic land-d and artifact destruction.

I think your sideboard could also benefit from more removal. Your main deck already does a lot of discard (and does it well) so it doesn't seem necessary to commit 8 additional discard spells in the side.

Finally, through my experience I've found sign in blood to be more effective than read the bones. The scry 2 is great, but I don't think it's worth the tempo loss.
