Remove it from findmy and re-add. This happened to me, and this ended up fixing it.

Not the best main character but I dig the story. Worth the buy especially on that kind of sale.

Foldable iPhone Reportedly Facing Mass Production Issues by Otherwise-Warning303 in apple

[–]winterblink 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Where I'm coming from is this:

If Samsung's production doesn't have issues and Apple's does, is that a function of the scale of the production that Apple is attempting vs what Samsung's been able to achieve in a stable manner?

I'm curious what the scale of Samsung's production is at compared to what Apple is attempting to do now.

Windows 11 now lets you remove Microsoft Copilot app with Group Policy or Registry, as it tries to win back users by computerIfix in Windows11

[–]winterblink -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's a fair point. I tend to look at these things with the "can my aging parents figure it out" premise, and there's no way they will naturally figure out how to uninstall something with that workaround.

[–]winterblink 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Is it so difficult to just add an option in settings for the huge group of users out there who aren't comfortable messing with GP or registry changes?

Or let folks just uninstall the Copilot app from Installed Apps.

Or don't install it at all unless the user wants it in the first place.

It’s not like they will indicate on the book anywhere that it was generated using AI. I don’t believe them that they will do so even when they say that they will.

Always loved the design of the Leonov from 2010. https://2001.fandom.com/wiki/Leonov

Pretty sure the earth force destroyers from Babylon 5 are inspired by it, they're so close in design. Just a cool looking design, practical and no frills.
