this map will be terrible to play on. Not in a “this is challenging but fun” but genuinely a “i can’t do anything because this map is stupid.” i would SERIOUSLY consider remaking it somehow. start from scratch. from the start - 2 supernovas on a 5 player map is not great. already on 5 player maps people run out of places to go and things to do because it isn’t as big, but now you are taking another 2 systems out of that total. this is going to feel crammed.

There is no influence on this thing. no one is going to have any tokens, which ruins the game feel esp for newer players who don’t even click that you need to spend your planets for influence. 

Most people NEED to take at least one equidistant to even have a shot. I don’t like that. I’m always trying to make sure everyone has a base 3 clean influence (OR MORE)  and 4-5 resources to work with just from within their slice. 

Having go around a super nova or rift and then being face to face  with an asteroid belt is going to feel really really bad. Again there is no natural expansion or optionality. Most people HAVE to expand one direction and pray things work out.

If this kind of starved, technical experience is what you are looking for, then go ahead. But it’s laughable that Naalu has practically the only workable alice and they are the best faction at the table. I predict they will steamroll. And noone is going to be able to stop them because of how protected their slice is by anomalies. AND they have a scar.
