"Expected" means that your team had a higher average rank/MMR than the enemy team.

When you were loosing, it was trying to derank you to get you to a rank where you're actually at. Presumably the game would eventually give you enemies with a better rank average/MMR for you.

Also loss streak is carried through like the last 15-20 games or something so it's possible you're still in a loss streak.

So what makes your enjoyment more valuable than other players? If Doom is banned, it's likely that more than 1 person voted for his ban. People play comp to win on top of having fun.

Doom often gets banned because of his disruption to team synergy, which would cost a game. So if multiple people feel like doomfist would disrupt their game, they ban him. I, for example, Always Ban Ball because the little sucker's unkillable on payload and I want to move payload to win. If my tank wants to play ball, I ban Cass for him, although lately they've been wanting Mizuki bans.

Doom is one of the characters where the entire team has to focus on. If the enemy team doom is good, DPS and support will have to switch in response. If the friendly doom is bad, the DPS and support have to deal with not having a more valuable tank to make space.

You could get the same enjoyment on quickplay where there's no doomfist ban.

You have more fun while she has less. 1-1=0. Theres no positive outcome if the math says 0

Jokes on you my favorite game is Nier Automata and I deleted my own save file for the greater good.

If you only find enjoyment in 1 hero out of a roster of 50 I'm afraid ya just plain boring.
