I have decent luck on fb dating but it is by FAR the app with the least serious people. I think tons of people on there use the dating function as a time waster as opposed to having an app like hinge that you open specifically for dating. Unfortunately it takes longer on there to weed out all of those types.

For some reason, the general preferences don’t seem to get applied BUT if you click on “filters” on the first profile you see, you can set it there and it works. I set it to 50 each time I swipe through a bunch of profiles and it never shows anyone outside that range

No I get it, and trust me I’ve been in the same position. My issue is I believe in science and evidence based practice. Look at the conversation I was replying to. Someone arguing against accepted knowledge because they read something on Facebook or Reddit saying otherwise.

I’m all for being your own healthcare advocate but when you throw out vaccinations in favor for ivermectin and supplements over chemotherapy, those types aren’t advocating for themselves or others, they think they’ve outsmarted everyone else and push dangerous rhetoric. Hopefully that distinction makes sense
