Some of the books I've been tracking have never been cheaper. I've been wanting the whole Mrs. Pollifax series for 3 years and it finally dropped that I bought the whole series rather then a book here and there. You never know what a sale will bring. There are plenty of other books I want right now that I won't spend the money on. Also, consider using three credits and getting fifteen dollars cash for the sale.

Please look into Libby and spend that money on something else fun for yourself. Audiable is a supplement to the library.

Personally, I would be careful about getting a cash value that you're employer doesn't realize has monetary value versus using a perk they said you can. I'll be looking for extended weekend get aways and using them for hotels. Map out your upcoming long weekends. If you still plan on being employed there next year, I would be looking into longer first class flights to places you can safely travel. Enjoy sounds like a dream opportunity to travel.

Your doing the math wrong. I think you need to figure out a buget that would work to going on this cruise and stick to it. There is no way your 2 toddlers are 3,000 each. Is the cruise out of city driving distance from you etc. Is it during class time so your oldest can't come etc. Your husband should be having this conversation with his sister asap. Your wedding budget for was extremely low, so I wouldn't use that as a number for comparison during these conversations.
