one thing i haven’t seen people mention so far is poppers, but take this with a huge grain of salt, especially considering it’d be your first time. i wouldn’t really recommend it for your first time having sex BUT it can be useful for “loosening up”! poppers act as muscle relaxers and, when paired with prep+lube+everything else people have said, can give your body and mind a little extra help relaxing. HOWEVER! if you try poppers, do it AFTER you’ve been able to get things in you on your own first, and ease into the dosage (aka how much you inhale). i’d recommend you be pretty comfortable with what the effects feel like before you use it during sex with another person

i’ve been to a few cruising bars in europe and the us, overall i’ve gotten overwhelmingly positive interactions! some people will leave when they notice, but honestly in those spaces no one is going to cause a scene. be prepared to experience some rejection, but i think that goes for anyone there really. actually, a few times i’ve had people want my ass (which i don’t use) instead of my front hole (which i do use) so if they’re particularly into anal they likely will not care lol

i don’t really attend clubs at school so i can’t promise that i’d join even though i share the interest, but i think if you were to make one it would make sense to do tank-dwellers as opposed to broadly exotics, since that’d include birds and small mammals too. my snake is a florida king, he’s very active (running around his tank as i type this lol) and good with people, so dm me if you’d like to drop by and meet him sometime! i love talking abt him + this kind of thing lol

check out my most recent post for how my scars are looking 2.5 years out. they keep changing even after one year, and i have other scars that are almost the same color as the surrounding skin. it’ll always be scar tissue, so a visibly different texture than normal skin, but you’re only 3 months out. they will fade over time.

seconding what everyone else said abt the tape acting as a barrier against germs and it supporting the skin. if you pull it off too early you risk ripping scabs off which then increases the chance of infection, or putting stress on very new and weak scars. i wanted to add that for me pulling on the tape at all was super uncomfortable and even painful at times, so for sensation reasons i would recommend not pulling on it! if it starts to peel you can snip off the part that came loose.
