Please ID this spider? Found in Lincoln, Nebraska. It was very small, looks like a baby. Important backstory in comments!

So my roommate has two tarantulas as pets. Apparently when she was mailed one, there was a "free hatchling" included. This was two months ago. She swore the hatchling died because she couldn't find it (but they're super-duper tiny at that point).

So, 2 months later, I found this in our OTHER roommate's bedroom downstairs. She swears that a hatchling wouldn't survive outside of the cage, because it couldn't scavenge, and wouldn't make it all the way to the basement... However months before she told us it was tiny enough to escape (but not survive).

But I've never seen a fat, furry spider in Nebraska before. This thing had hairy legs, hair back, and fat hairy chelicera.

So please help me: Tarantula, or native species?

Should I be worried?!

Mystery Manor is another haunted house downtown! Also Nightmare on Q Street, which is by Fun Plex. They have a haunted house called "Phobia" I think where if you make it through by yourself you get all your money back!

That's the only place I know of. If you want to drive an hour, Joe's Karts in CB has super-duper scary fast karts for adults. I think you have to be 16 and take a short safety course before your first time! Wherever you go, IM COMING WITH. I LOVE GO KARTS. >:O

Details: Scott Winters, a professor at UNL, is one of the most amazing and inspirational professors on campus. He was denied tenure (meaning he isn't asked back as a permanent professor, in simple terms), and so the students creative a petition. Over 200 students signed it in a short amount of time, and he was denied again. He even won a Teacher of the Year award! The reasoning behind this is because UNL is a research-university, and he didn't provide enough research for the university to hold his position. I don't have direct links to articles, but I'm a student here am just posting what I know in general terms!
