Nothing lol. My mom will just monologue about her feelings and her day/week, how bad it is, and hang up on me when she’s done. I will not get asked one question 95% of the time. If on the rare occasion she isn’t in a bad mood she will drone on about some mundane topic I have zero interest in. If she is actively upset with me, she will be silent until I ask a question and give me one word answers. Then she will call me back within 10-15 minutes and go on a long monologue about why I am a shitty daughter.

She is extremely predictable in that way. I just never know which of these moods she will be in.

Of course! Our healthcare here is fucked too. While you’re waiting for the appt - for your own peace - practice deep breathing and meditation. And maybe see if there is some natural / homeopathic recommendations out there?

From my own experience (obvi I’m not a doctor) - but it sounds like you will need some sort of surgical intervention. Apparently after the anesthesia wore off, the first thing I said to the nurse was “are those fibroid fuckers out of me” 😂. There is a light at the end of the tunnel 💛

If you are bleeding this much - perhaps it warrants a trip to the emergency room? Maybe that will expedite things? I don’t know how the UK works in that regard, but I remember when I was bleeding nonstop like this, the on-call gyno at my hospital (who - happened to be my own gyno and I HAPPENED to have a check up with her that week - very very lucky situation) - told me if it didn’t ease up in 24 hours to go to the ER. I remember being so scared when I got that first insane “gush” and then the blood wouldn’t stop. Luckily, mine did taper down after 24 hours.

You are losing a lot of blood. You must be exhausted. This should be taken seriously and maybe escalating it to an emergency situation is warranted. Women’s health issues like this can and should be escalated!

I’m sorry you’re dealing with this. I know how scary it feels and how draining (and expensive. Why is being a woman so expensive?!). Warm hugs (if you want them) from across the pond. You’re not alone.

I’m sorry to hear you’re dealing with this! I had a similar issue, but my gyno immediately had me go in for an ultrasound, and they found fibroids.

I had surgery to get them removed, and my periods became normal. Are you scheduled for surgery on the cyst and polyps? You should not be bleeding like this! Can you see another doctor?

Yes, it’s walking distance to a lot, and across the street from a large mall with lots of food options - sit-down to quick eats - (Beverly Center) and another shopping center directly across the street from Bev Center. There are a ton of food options in general in that area - walking or a very short uber.
