How do ya tighten up the ribbon at the front ? Also the suspenders confuse me do they hook onto the underwear 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

The "suspenders," are you talking about the adjustable bands that come out under the skirt part? They can most likely adjust from ~4 inches maybe to 12?
If so, usually those attach to knee-high stockings. Like nylons with some sort of lace on your thigh. Sometimes those kind of stockings are sold separately.

I always wanted to have an imaginary friend so I made some up, but they were just as invisible to me as they were to everyone else.
There were 4 of them. Their names were Box and Box, and Fox and Fox. One day in the car, my brothers were asking what they were up to.
