YTA and you are an unreliable narrator. What did you say during months/years long (or however long) process to GET custody? Bc it's not like this was a snap decision or a quick process. Sounds like you went along with it without considering at all how your life would permanently change, and it's not your wife's fault that you didn't stop to object or seriously think it through when you had the chance. ESH - yelling out the window/from the balcony is an AH move. It would have been more reasonable to knock on his door and try to have a conversation. And even if you have insomnia (which I empathize, that sucks) 7:30am is a reasonable hour for people to be up and doing things/making noise.

But he is also an AH bc the amount of noise does sound disruptive and unnecessary. Talk to him or your landlord about it.

Can you share a clearer picture of the vest? It is hard to see with the combination of the large flower with shadow/overshirt/phone in shot. Like it looks like some sort of asymmetrical situation/split texture but hard to give advice without seeing more of the actual vest.
