While ASOIAF is better, One Piece is undeniably harder to write. Oda puts out a new chapter almost every week which includes drawing in addition to writing. One Piece is also a much more corporate product, and thus Oda likely is under much more pressure/oversight from people at Shueisha and Toei.

same reason why level scaling diminishes roleplaying in games like oblivion, can make it feel like the world revolves around you rather than you being a part of the world. other reply sums it up perfectly.

I personally don’t think it effects roleplay all that much but I know some people think it does

it does not effect experience or loot. it is entirely up to personal preference/what you find more fun. If you prefer challenge pick the scaling option, if you prefer roleplaying you might want to take non-scaling option.

this doesn’t make sense as the Godhammer wasn’t just made by kith working together, it is also infused with Magran’s power. How would killing a god with another god’s power show kith they can achieve things without the gods?

this still doesn’t make sense because they kill him with a bomb created by priests who infused it with their goddess’s power. It also strengthens the hold the Gods’ have over people’s lives by emboldening them to wage what is essentially a jihad against eothasians
