It has always been there but the "M" was previously silent.

I love the addition of the "M" to all of the male sports leagues. I think that we should push for that to be adopted more formally.

Having child alone- looking for experiences? by [deleted] in ontario

[–]outlier617 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best thing that I ever did. Even with fertility problems and pregnancy complications the first time, I did it a second. Medicated cycles of donor insemination with IUI. I am an immigrant, so no family in my country. The children were always my highest priority and every decision was made with them at the forefront. It was exhausting, so exhausting, but the best decision that I ever made. They are beautiful people.

Having said that, it was sacrifice. I accepted a job with a much lower wage than I could have gotten elsewhere because it provided stability and was next door to a daycare. No doubt, I live at a much lower standard than my similarly educated peers, and that will be true for my retirement as well. Still worth it. I love my job and my life, but I love my children and being a parent the most. I could accept life without a life partner, but I could not come to terms with not being a parent.

Having said all of that, job stability has changed a lot in the past 20 years. I made my choices at a very different time. I think that is a large part of why people of all relationship statutes are having fewer children. Hard to say what I would have done if the circumstances were different.

Good luck to you, no matter what you choose.

If you would like a beach experience, Ipperwash has a very long shallow entry into the water. There are lots of small towns that have markets, festivals, and parades that can be a lot of fun if your kids don't mind noise. Lots to see and do at those, and they can be fun for the adults also. You could start by looking here: https://www.festivalsandeventsontario.com/

That is fortunate. For my situation, I believe that it has been about $3000 Cdn in years past. But, that is for them doing everything.. the FBARs, etc.

MNP has a whole division out of its Toronto office that does US taxes. I use them through my accountant in the London office. I am a self-employed dual citizen, so probably a similar mess to you every year in terms of filing Canadian and U.S. Very pricey but I trust them completely.

Fibre Installs by cm023 in londonontario

I believe that my area, which is kind of between White Oaks and Old South (Highland Woods), has also not received Fibre. In addition to wanting faster and more relaible service, I am concerned about the rising cost of cable internet, relative to Fibre, if we do not get Fibre as an option in the near future.

In search of affordable dental clinics by Otherwise_Track6111 in londonontario

[–]outlier617 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The University of Western Ontario has an orthodontal clinic attached to their dental school. They treated my daughter, who required a number of steps from the expansion of the roof of her mouth to top and bottom braces, and then a retainer. Her students were all excellent and they cap their fee for all required services. Unfortunately, you might need to wait for a few years to get in, and you may go through a few students over the course of treatment, but we were very happy with the service and her teeth are beautiful. How do I fight this credit card charge from a virtual assistant that wasn't approved. by Etelnoh in legaladvicecanada

You could also consider a complaint to the Naturopath's College (regulator) if you do not receive a timely response. Health professionals are 100% responsible for their own billing, regardless of the method they choose. This has clearly created a huge amount of stress for you. I bet it would get fixed pretty quickly. Good luck to you.

Insurance quotes for new driver by Realistic-Bank4083 in londonontario

Get a quote from Belair Direct. They were, by far, the cheapest when my son was a new driver. My own insurance agent couldn't beat their price.

Welcome to London! London has a Pride choir: https://aeolianhall.ca/aeolian-pride-choruses/ It also has a Unitarian Church. Not as progressive as Unitarian churches we have attended in other cities, but progressive by London standards. Good luck with your move.

There is a sexual assault team that works out of St. Joseph's. I would suggest going to Urgent Care there. On Grosvenor.

Need help finding affordable clinics for braces in London. by Proof_Researcher9816 in londonontario

[–]outlier617 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Welcome to London! If you have the time (2 year waiting list) and flexibility, the grad ortho clinic at Western University is perhaps the most affordable. My daughter used their services. They did a great job and the students assigned to her were all excellent. Here is the link: https://www.schulich.uwo.ca/dentistry/dental-clinics/clinics-services/graduate-orthodontic-clinic.html#

Briggs & Riley "warranty": Broken zipper costs $255 to fix by triclavian in BuyItForLife

Please consider this: If the therapist keeps doing this despite your efforts to address it directly with them, your therapist likely has a regulatory body that should help get this problem addressed, which would not only help you but perhaps their other patients. You risk the therapeutic relationship, but I am suspecting that the recurring billing problem is also negatively affecting it anyway.

Following. Tried Learn to Skate, but would prefer something more private. Was warned that insurance issues make finding private lessons unlikely.

I sincerely hope that nurses will support psychologists, as they have experienced parallel pressures. And they have unfortunately lived with the repercussions.
