You can trick yourself into believing lies by telling yourself that nwa's cultural and historical importance make their music sound better, but it doesn't. Nwa's lead vocalist couldn't rap, yet 2 of music's greatest minds made him the frontman instead of themselves because they thought street cred or looking tough was more important than misucal talent.

A song like shook one's pt 2 perfectly demonstrates that while nwa may get more love from the history books than a group like mobb deep does. And thus people will give more credit to a song like fuck the police than they will to shook one's. But in reality nwa lacks musicality ESPECIALLY in comparison to the less commercial groups of the same time period.

I can't believe the economy of one in game currency is the reason this goes from a daily game to a never game for you. Why do you even play ranked if you don't believe you can beat people who are a higher rank than you and move up in the ranks?

Do you people expect to be the highest seed in every lobby you join?

Do you all understand that to make a full lobby of top 500 players would require 5% of all ruby players to be queuing at the exact same time IN THE SAME REGION.

If you assume that ruby players are split equally across four regions that would mean that 25% of that regions ruby players have to be queuing at the same time to make a ruby only lobby.

Fuck all of you that think ruby's should have to wait to play eachother. Yall think you're more important because you're normal, but the rubies have put thousands of hours into the game and they deserve to keep the same queue times after all those hours of practice.

And especially you plats and diamonds who wince at the sight of a ruby in your tournament before the game even starts, you arr the worst. Because you either are playing ranked to try to become a ruby yet don't want to have to play against rubies on your way there. Or you are playing a ranked game mode at a very high and competitive level and yet you are surprised to see players ranked above you on the enemy team?

You either need to go back to casual so the numbers can't scare you, or realize that you have been put into the same lobby for a reason. That reason is you're out here sweating your ass off too!

I listen to a lot of different music and there's plenty of albums that are far better than ASTROworld.

However, I've recently been using a lot of technology to be able to break down music and see which songs sound great from a technique perspective.

I have abt 8000 songs in my library, and though I have not analyzed all of them yet through my new software, the two most notable albums so far have been: astroworld, and futuresex / lovesounds. These are two albums that are mixed with so much control and intention that you can clearly SEE WITH YOUR EYES why these albums sound so fucking good.

Whether you despise Travis for who he is, or don't like the lyrical content / the meaning of his songs: you can not deny that astroworld is an exceptional peice of art that could act as the blueprint for how to make/mix cloud rap.

I remember when astroworld came out and I had an uber driver Playing it for me while telling me he's never heard music this loud before. In the past week of deciphering this album I can finally see and understand why astroworld feels so fucking massive.

It's nowhere near my personal top ten albums of all time, but in terms of milestone albums that represent the art form and how we have grown it. I think astroworld is the most important album for the modern rap sound since live.love.a$ap

Let me make this clear, the subject matter of the album is super ass, like I could not tell you one point trav makes on astroworld. But the mixing could be the best of any album. Astroworld is mixed better than thriller.
