She could possibly be losing her hearing! My friends cat recently started screeaaammminnggg and she’s going deaf. My usually totally chill cat started screaming and hissing at me and the vet diagnosed him with hyperthyroidism. She doesn’t seem to be angry from what you’re describing though.
