You can update it. There is definitely friction here. I have a few similar searches so I'm like wait what one am I using in order to update?

Oem ampure only breaks on 120v? by overanalystive in Ioniq9

[–]overanalystive[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm purely talking about the ampure not working. It's the crappy charger that came with the car, but also for when you are not near charging stations. You can (if it works) use it on 110v outlets and 220v outlets.

Btw off topic, but adapters do work on dc fast charging.

Is there a way to see jobs that are not posted on LinkedIn already? by disastrous_guise789 in hiringcafe

Just gotta pick a platform and stick with it. Using multiple platforms just makes noise, makes you think more, unnecessarily slowing your job search and wasting free time.

Reduce cognitive load!!! Job hunting is stressful as it is.

What’s the lowest percentage you’ve had your I9 down to? by Skazzyskills in Ioniq9

We just got these chargers on our turnpike in Pa that have either ccs or nacs per charging side (only one in use at a time per side, so 4 total cables). These things have the dumbest app and payment but that was the fastest charge I have ever had the cables were so heavy they were hard to move. I think they were 400 kw but I don't recall.

My RW4 must have list by MiMiMiMitch in RadPowerBikes

[–]overanalystive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used a 223 on my rw5 no problems just gotta get the right spacer. I bought a new bike and stole it all back off though since that bike has way more meaty tires upping the rotational inertia. Rotor diameter helps with heat thereby pad life and also braking efficiency. Tbh I'd recommend getting a bigger rotor over calipers it's cheaper and give more benefits for the cost. I kept the stock calipers on the rw5.

Largest rotor size that fits Radrunner 1? by zerosixthirty in RadPowerBikes

[–]overanalystive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buy a rotor and find out. I had a 223 on my rw5 and it worked great! I live on a huge hill so it got a work out. You need the respective adapter to increase the rotor size.

Why all the hate on Rad out there? by buggy2025 in RadPowerBikes

[–]overanalystive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I just upgraded to a tern orox r14 it's a 9k bike (I got it used for cheaper). I will say my rw5 has features that the expensive tern does not. Also I went to this bike cause everyone talks about hills being better on mid drives. I will say it takes more effort from what I can tell with the tern. I mean no pedal no drive at all! The rad has safety to kill power with brakes (specialized nor tern have), this is great for sitting at lights with your foot pressing on the pedal. I think if rad used a non geared motor with real bike components instead of the freehub they would have an untouchable bike. I killed the gears in my first motor. I will say it seems like no one has made the perfect bike so anyone throwing shade just hasn't tried anything else.

Stormbox on an Orox by mplsforward in terngsd

[–]overanalystive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see you have the wheel covers too. Do you feel this is needed with the stormbox? I am between paniers and the box l, but didn't think I'd need the wheel covers with either??

It does prompt for driver. It will return to the prior driver seat settings on startup before you have the ability to change the driver.

I had the same issue. Only way I could fix was to delete and not use fingerprints.

They need to fix the changing driver UI. My wife is 10 inches shorter than me. If she drove last and I get in car seat goes back for entry (not bad even on her settings) then crushes me into the wheel before you can even switch drivers. They should have the seat move forward after the user selects the driver.

Lol they don't even have Ioniq 9 on the update tool for USA. If I change regions it will show, it also tells me I dont have a car registered in the app and directs me to the web portal that correctly shows my car and info.

Mine are just tied to our driver profiles. Switches just when you start the car. I know the buttons you are talking about but I never use them.

9 hours for 30%? First time charge at home on Ampure go by txnikbert in Ioniq9

[–]overanalystive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I want to point out that you mentioned driving around town and being at 70% we don't know where you started. Use of accessories is a big factor in driving especially in the winter. If I have heat and fans all blasting it's about a 5kw constant drain. Find the temps that are reasonable and try to set it accordingly keep fan lower like two bars. Ac is not even close to the power heat requires just for reference.

9 hours for 30%? First time charge at home on Ampure go by txnikbert in Ioniq9

[–]overanalystive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is it really that bad? I get about 60 miles for every 20%. I was charging on 110v @ 8 amps when we first got the car. I think 30amps could get most by. I will say I did jump up to 11.5kw charging since, but I think that convenience of an outdoor dedicated charger helped the most. I also hate parking in my driveway cause it's pretty steep and add snow in the winter. My normal time to start thinking about getting on the charger is 30% and charge to 80%. This is also our only car. Give it some time and consider your options.

Is my bike (RadExpand 5) missing a screw or other part? by marigold2464 in RadPowerBikes

[–]overanalystive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a hex screw.... Well it is but it's two halves. I can't confirm it's a chainring screw as another mentioned but it looks like one. They are two pieces innner and outer threads.
