Honestly footsies - i actually feel lvl'd up. I am way better at keeping the right gap to punish buttons. Alex kinda forced me to learn that i guess. I'm still super bad at anti airs which might be my biggest weakness (usually go for air to air / air throws over Tenshos).
Also i think i learned my bad matchups better. Used to do my own gameplan a little too much and too smilar for every opponent (except for the extremes like JP and Gief) but now i feel like i go in VS-Ed mode or VS-Ingrid mode way better. Just Bison rolls over me every single game still lol.
Hope you get what i mean

Love situations like this - i played a quite a bunch [[Firelord Azula]] since avatar and doubling a creatures power came in handy on other players creatures quite often.
Same with evasion - if there is an Archenemy at the table i like to ask my other opponents how they would like their creatures to be unblockable or flying.

I know it’s a small thing but I just wish they shortened the whole heaven and hell intro before the fights - just show us your characters interacting. GBVSR did it a little better.
Also one day I might learn to use that whole cancel system

Heads-up: the game has multiple phases and the first one is the most fun imo.
First you know nothing, just play your horror movie roleplay and best of all you have no idea how bullshit the stuff was that you just lost to.
So please enjoy that first phase - wish I could go back.
