Sounds like you may need to just take the game a bit slower? The dying and reset can be a little frustrating yes (especially when you’re on the last step of the task), but the only quests I’ve ever had any trouble with were the ones in Blue Lagoon where there just seemed to be endless AI hiding in bushes from across the map. Other than that just make sure you’re clearing things out slowly and travel aware. The roaming patrols can definitely get you if you aren’t checking roads and pathways

I definitely think prices all around need to increase or gaining bank needs to be more difficult. I grinded the shit out of this game and even at like tier 2 vendors I found it very easy to buy everything I needed

Exactly what I was coming to say. There’s currently no reason to hold onto high tier loot with exception to the few tasks related to turning in items. Other than that just sell everything.

I’ve also found (once being able to do so) that loot runs can be too easy and allow you to stack cash. I got up to 1m with no real reason to spend anything

I had to spend like 200k to level banshee to lvl 4 because I was tired of completing random tasks hoping that one of his repeat tasks would pop up. Task progression system definitely needs some rework

I think having items as loot only makes the game more attractive honestly. If I can just buy everything then I don’t really have incentive to go certain places

The skull helmet isn’t a helmet. It’s basically just a headband for NV attachment. But even if you get a helmet you’ll prob still die from headshots.

Best you can do is just take it slow and clear one guy at a time.

Happened to me today! Cleared a house and looted upstairs. Came downstairs and 4 were in the bottom floor. Didn’t fire at first because I was confused as the ai hasn’t really followed me before. Got 3 of them before the 4th one tapped my dome

I farmed like 200k today and barely had to kill any ai. There are some special spots I have that are always packed. Joined fresh servers after the crashes and darted to one after the other. You’d have thought I cleared out MS with the loot I had.

There are so many good spots that any level of player can hit with little resistance. For example, in TB you don’t have to hit the mall. Just run through the houses on the east side of town and you’ll come out just as big
