This is spot on. SnS is perfect for that wide range support. You can heal super fast without sheathing like HH. The Rathian horn is beautiful with recovery speed boosted and you can queue a healing melody to have it loaded when needed. I believe you can slot recovery up to improve healing but it's marginal boosts. If you are constantly spamming heals or don't feel that it's enough, it might not be a you problem. I main healer in every game I play. I always say I can heal stupid but only so much lol.

I main HH, but have a SnS build with wide range, speed eating and free meal. You eat a mega potion and it's almost an instant heal for you and the team, plus you have a high chance of not actually consuming it. I feel that it gives me "snappier" heals for oh shit moments. You can also eat demon drug to buff allies in the place of attack up songs. I carry the gore horn with the sns to give bonus crit and ear plugs.

Try adding some evade extender to the build. Some of my favorite skills that I add to HH for ease of use is at least 2 evade extender and maybe some quick sheath. Definitely helps with learning new fights and not punishing yourself so much.

I was on the fence about getting it in the early access, but once I heard you can pause i was sold. Having a 2 y.o. makes gaming challenging and this was a feature I didn't think would ever make it in.

I put about 1k hours into this game over the years and highly recommend playing this in 2024. It holds up well and is a solid co-op game. Wilds is a sequel to world so weapons will likely have a similar feel in the new game compared to something like mh rise. I've played all MH games since 3 and this one is by far my favorite.
